Welcome to EkTithi

We are EkTithi

OUR STORY

Welcome to EkTithi” (एक तिथि) beautifully evokes the idea of a special date, an occasion, a moment in time to be celebrated. It’s perfect for ethnic wear.

EkTithi began with a simple observation: every special occasion—a wedding, a festival, a milestone—is a unique tithi (date) on the calendar of life. Yet, finding ethnic wear that felt authentic, beautifully crafted, and consciously made for that day was a journey in itself. We set out to change that.

Our collection is a bridge between the timeless artistry of Indian embroidery, weaving, and drapes, and the clean, versatile aesthetics of today. Each piece at EkTithi is more than an outfit; it’s a canvas where tradition meets personal expression.

Join Our Celebration. Let’s honor your traditions, express your unique style, and dress the moments that become memories

Our Vision :

Imagine a single destination where the soul of India’s craftsmanship resides. Our vision is to build that home. Starting with the timeless white-on-white poetry of Chikankari, our journey is a deliberate, respectful pilgrimage to every cluster, every karigar (artisan), and every technique that defines our nation’s sartorial identity. We don’t just sell ethnic wear; we aim to become custodians of heritage, connecting discerning global patrons with the guardians of these ancient arts, ensuring these traditions don’t just survive, but thrive for generations to come.”

Our Mission : More than a Label, A Link in the Chain of Heritage.

“Our mission is to build a responsible and radiant platform for India’s ethnic wear by committing to these core pillars:”

1. Authenticity & Curation:

“To be relentless curators, ensuring every piece—from our founding Chikankari collection to future explorations—is deeply rooted in its region’s authentic techniques, motifs, and stories.”

2. Artisan Partnership & Impact:

“To forge direct, transparent, and fair partnerships with artisan clusters and karigars. We are committed to ethical sourcing, sustainable livelihoods, and honoring the human hand behind every embroidery stitch and weave.”

3. Access & Education:

“To make the vast geography of Indian textiles accessible and understandable. We will demystify the craftsmanship, share the stories of the artisans, and educate our patrons on the heritage they are embracing.”

4. Design & Wearability:

“To serve as a sensitive bridge between tradition and contemporary life. We will present heritage crafts in silhouettes and styles that resonate with modern sensibilities, ensuring these arts are lived in and loved daily.”

5. Community & Celebration:

“To cultivate a community of patrons who value provenance over fast fashion. We aim to celebrate not just the clothing, but the cultures they represent, fostering pride and a shared commitment to preservation.”
